Wheat Rava Idli
Wheat is a powerful and popular grain which is available all over the world. It is very good for health, especially for women. Most of the people don’t know that wheat has the ability to prevent breast cancer. The phytonutrients present in wheat opposes the growth of the cancer cell. In addition to this, wheat products help to manage weight, treat hormone imbalance and relieves postmenopausal symptoms.

Ingredients (For 2 people)
Urad dal: ½ cup
Wheat rava: 2 cup
Salt: 1 tsp
Cooking Procedure:
- Wash and soak urad dal for 5 hours.
- Transfer this into the mixer grinder and prepare the batter by adding enough water.
- Add salt and mix well.
- Keep it for fermentation overnight.
- Add wheat rava in the batter and adjust the consistency by adding water.
- Keep it for 30 minutes, so that the rava will soak in it and becomes soft.
- If the batter becomes very thick, add some water and make it in the consistency of idli batter.
- Take the idli steamer and drizzle some oil in the plates.
- Pour the batter in the plates and steam it for 10 minutes.
- Serve it hot with sambar or chutney.
