Clean nose with saline water:
On need to clear the air passage of nose with saline water. Saline water proves to be very effective in quitting the habit of smoking cigarettes. Pour the saline water in through one nostril and release it through the other nostril. Now reverse this process. This will increase the oxygen intake in body.
Use cooper vessel to drink water:
Drink enough water, especially from a copper vessel. This can help reduce tobacco addiction and flush out toxins from the body.
Basil leaves:
Chew 2-3 basil leaves every morning. This will reduce the side effects of smoking in your body and the effect of tobacco addiction will also decrease gradually.
Triphala powder:
One teaspoon Triphala should be taken before sleeping at night. This will flush the nicotine tar accumulated in your system. Triphala is the best Ayurvedic remedy for smoker’s lungs.
Carom seeds (Ajwain)
To get rid of the addiction to smoking, take a spoonful of carom seeds. According to Ayurveda, it reduces the craving for smoke. It also breaks the habit of consuming nicotine.
Dhuman:
In Ayurveda, there is a process called Dhuman, in which herbal smoke is recommended to be inhaled. But this process should be done only under the supervision of an Ayurvedic doctor.
