Black Chickpeas Rice Mix

Type Of Cuisine: Indian
Ingredients: (For 2 people)
Black chickpeas: 1/2 cup
Rice: 1 cup
Coconut milk: 2 cup
Ghee: 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
Onion: 1 large size
Tomato: 2 small size
Green chilli: 2
Coriander leaves: a few
Mint leaves: a few
Turmeric powder: 1 tsp
Salt: as per the required taste
Cashews: 6
Cooking Procedure:
- Soak the black chickpeas overnight.
- Heat the cooker and add ghee, cumin seeds, chopped onion and finely chopped tomatoes.
- Fry them for few seconds and add mint leaves, coriander leaves and green chili.
- Then add soaked black chickpeas, turmeric powder and salt.
- Add rice and coconut milk to these and cook it for 20 minutes or 4 whistles.
- Finally, add some roasted cashews. Your black chickpeas rice mix is ready.
